National Volunteer Appreciation Week is a time to share thanks and gratitude for the wonderful people who give their time, energy and passion to a project, program or cause. At United Way of Portage County, we are very grateful for the numerous volunteers that support our work on committees, through programs and services, and as advocates in our community.

Volunteers are the backbone of nonprofit work, especially at United Way. They are the wonderful people who give their time, their talents and their dedication to ensure that people in our community are receiving the help they need.
