In Lieu of our Annual Day of Caring, We're Collecting
Donation items for Kit Packs During the Month of July to Help Those in Need!
We’re continuing to work hard to meet the needs of our community and due to the pandemic, we’ve replaced our annual Day of Caring with a new way for our community to come together and help our most vulnerable residents during this time of great need. Together we can make a difference.
How You Can Help:
Collect and donate items from one or more of the drives below and drop-off on Wednesday, July 29th from 2:00pm–5:00pm at UWPC - 999 E. Main St., Ravenna, OH 44266 (rear parking lot). This Drive-Thru Donation Drop-off will be made COVID-19 safe, as volunteers will be on hand to unload donations from your vehicle.
Book Drive for Big Red Bookshelf - Collect new and gently used pre-k - 4th grade reading level books to help promote early grade literacy throughout Portage County.
School Supply Drive - For Supply List click HERE. This drive will help Portage County students k-12 have the tools for a successful school year.
PPE Drive - Face Masks, Sanitizing Wipes, Hand Sanitizers, Disposable Gloves, Disinfectant Sprays, No-Touch Thermometers - This drive will help support the health and well being of the volunteers, workers and clients , the food pantries, social service programs in the Portage County area.
Senior Care Drive - Depends, Bladder Leak Liners, Sanitary Wipes - This drive will help Portage County Seniors with these much needed, but expensive items.
Personal Care Products Drive - Toothpastes, Toothbrushes, Dental Floss, Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower Soap, Disposable Razors - This drive will help support the residents in many of the Portage County Shelters.
