2010 Leadership Recognition Event: April 7, 2010: Our leadership givers are those who give $1,000 or more to the annual United Way campaign. Being a leadership giver makes you a member of Portage County’s Rainbow Club. Each year Kent State University helps us recognize our Rainbow Club members by hosting a donor recognition event with an evening of music, drinks and delicious foods. Below are a few photos of our April 7th 2010 leadership giving recognition event. 2009 Days of Caring: September, 2009, Days of Caring projects are coordinated by United Way staff and allow businesses that are United Way supporters with a glimpse of how the organization’s partner programs and agencies operate. This year, employees of Portage County-based businesses rolled up their sleeves and pitched in to assist local social service agencies with a variety of projects during United Way of Portage County’s 16th Annual Days of Caring.
