United Way of Portage County Welcomes New Board Members and Recognizes those Retiring

Ravenna, Ohio—As 2009 gets under way, United Way of Portage is having their annual meeting on January 21^st at 5:00pm.  Here, they are pleased to welcome four new board members: Ann Gosky from Kent State University, Office of the Vice President.  James Masi, ESQ—of Wilson and Masi, Attorneys at Law.  Kelli Englhart, RN, BSM—Portage County Health Department, and Terry Christensen from Kent State University, Office of the Provost; United Way of Portage County is also happy to welcome back Bill Griffith, who has served on the board in pervious years.

Despite our current economic situation, United Way of Portage County is eager to move forward into a brighter future with the likes of its new board members.  United Way would like to recognize its returning members who make up the Executive Committees.  Kevin Buck from Deluxe Corporation in Streetsboro, has been on pervious committees serving as Campaign Chair and Loan Executive in other communities; he will now serve as Board Chair for United Way.  Scott Levin is the CEO of Step2 and will be serving as Board Chair Elect. Vicki Kline comes to United Way of Portage County from Apex Wealth Management of Kent, and is our Treasurer.  Both Scott Levin and Vicki Kline will work together as Administration.  Paula Giulitto comes from Giulitto and Berger Law Firm, and she is Co-Chair of FUNDEC.  Also returning is Doug Bloy, Doug is at Portage County Bank and is Campaign Chair.
