Vision, Mission & Goal
Our Mission:
“Caring that strengthens our community, improves our lives and makes your contribution count.”
Our Vision:
“To serve the Portage County community by being an exemplary and innovative leader in mobilizing regional assets to build the community’s capacity to measurably impact current and emerging needs.”
Goal:
Our primary goal is to meet the needs of the community though funding our partner agencies. By doing this we save our partner agencies the expense of back office costs of fundraising which includes, marketing, promoting and manpower. The United Way of Portage County is just one source of funding for these programs. This enables agencies to do what they do best which is providing services for those in need who live in Portage County.
