Below are pictures of our United Way volunteers touring Miller Community House, a service of Family & Community Services and Crisis Care for Homeless through Coleman Professional Services.  These are just two our United Way’s funded agencies that have programs requesting financial support.  Our volunteers spend multiple hours touring agencies, learning about the programs needing funds, then reviewing how our dollars can impact the needs that are evident.  All of this is necessary before they can make educated decisions upon how the dollars are distributed.  Since there are never enough dollars to cover the programs requesting support, these decisions are taken very seriously.
