United Way of Portage County announces local CEO voted onto Ohio UW board of trustees Ravenna, Ohio— The United Way of Portage County is pleased to announce that Steve Kleiber, President & CEO of United Way of Portage County has been named as a volunteer member to the Ohio United Way board of trustees. The volunteer board works with local UW’s to provide training opportunities, improved collaboration and any needed advocacy with state government. Steve Kleiber has been the local CEO since 2003 and both works and lives in the community. “I am eager to help with some of the collaborative initiatives” Steve Kleiber said. “ United Way has a need to expand 211 service in Ohio and create a seamless process for donors that live in one community and designate to another”. The United Way of Portage County is one of several United Way’s that has 211(first call for help) as part of its local staff. The United Way of Portage County funds 39 local programs that provide services in the areas of health & human services. |
